and I'm sorry about that!

I hope everyone has been doing well! I wanted to let everyone know that I am taking a nice long break from just about everything computer related....except for like music and editing pictures. No more blogging, no more facebook, no more e-mail (except for what I absolutely need to do...)etc....I am not sure how long I'll be off....but it won't be for too terribly long. I just need the break. And I am actually really looking forward to it. :-D

But before I get off...I wanted to ask ya'lls opinion on something.I am thinking of getting my ears pierced. What is your opinion of getting that done? I am in the middle....So, if you want to help me out by telling me what you think, or telling me no, or yes, please do! :) I wear the clip-ons when I want to accessorize....but they wind up hurting so much, and they can be such a hassle at times....soooo....yeah, let me know what you think! :)

Just so everyone knows, I was not intentionally off livejournal and everything else for a while...my laptop was messed up....much to my dismay. But, thanks to God, and to dad for spending hours and hours on it, it is now back up and running, and everything was saved! AND =) photoshop is re-installed and I am one very happy girl.

I have been busy though, what with work and all. And with this new orchestra I am in, it requires me to practice more if I want to be able to keep up...which is good, but I just wind up not having much time to do anything else. I just recently started teaching a 10 year old boy and a 4 year old girl violin...and that has been such, such fun!!

My family went to the beach the other week...so I am going to post a few pictures from that. And from this past weekend.

Eventually I'll get arounf to posting more, and getting caught up on everyone's blogs! Forgive me for not commenting etc lately.

I just wanted to let you all know that I have a photography blog...It's not like a blog blog, but just to put up some of my favorite pictures I have taken....or edited. This is still my blog/journal, and I will keep on updating it with pictures as well. I still have several things to work on to make the photography blog "my blog"...but it's coming. I guess I am still just not quite used to using blogger...etc.

Well, this was definitely much longer than I had planned it to be--but this was just snippets from my month of July. =D

This is what happens when Keller is hungry...but he doesn't want to co-operate with me to be fed. And what happens when there aren't any clean bibs.




He tried taking things into his own hands...and only got messier.

I love this baby!!!!! He makes getting up early every morning, and spending 9 hours a day away from home, so so worth it. His smiles are adorable. And they just make you want to EAT HIM UP!!!!

Hello everyone!!

I know it's been forever since I have updated....and really I have no excuse except for that I want to put up pictures, but live journal has changed something for me, and it takes FORREVER to put the pics up....so most times I am just not wanting to bother with doing a post and putting up pictures...

So I might post a few every once in a while...but other than that I think you shall just have to be stuck with posts from me with very few pictures.

I got a brand new camera last week, and am already TOTALLY in love with it. It is simply amazing. *sigh* It's a Nikon D90, and I have two aweseome lens' for it--a 18-105 mm VR lens, and a 55-200 mm VR lens. Uh-mazing. It also shoots in full HD video, one of the first to do so! I don't have a picture of it just yet, but I will get one up tomorrow or Friday. :)

Stephanie and Joshua were over for a while yesterday, getting the last of Stephanie's stuff from around the house, and her sewing cottage, and so they stayed for a while, and had dinner. Stephanie is getting so super big!!! She is suuuch a cute pregnant lady!!! =D I do have some pictures of her that I will post sometime in the next three days.

I leave for a week of camp on Sunday, and I am soooo excited!!! I am VERY much looking forward to a week off of work. Though I know I will miss the kids. =D They are just soooo adorable. I got some of the cutest pictures of them yesterday.... I'm in love!

Mom had a tea party yesterday for two ladies that came over--a mother and her daughter( with her kids so the kids could go swimming), and Stephanie as well. Mom had just finished her brand new Victorian blouse, so they all wore hats and shawls for the tea party...I had to miss it because I had a DR. appt. to get my thumb checked out. I had to get it x-rayed...but they said they couldn't see anything wrong with it. I just probably jammed it REALLY hard, and they said to just keep it in a splint for a while longer. It still hurts though. But yeah, so i missed out on the lovely tea party. Mom is having another one tomorrow for two other ladies that live down the road. :)

I have an audition coming up on the 23rd of next month, and I think I am going to start freaking out about it!!!! O_o It's for the community orchestra, at the University of Richmond, and I sooooo soooooo soooooo badly want to get into it. It's amazing. So, keep me in your prayers as I prepare for it. Especially since I won't really be able to practice next week... :/

Well, I need to go now...but I am working on getting some pictures uploaded! =D

I REALLY don't know why my pictures wound up being soooo huge! My picture posting thing on LJ has changed...you can no longer resize them... it just gives you a place for the link or to upload them, is that how it is for everyone else???
So, I'm sorry about the largeness of the last post of pics. Not sure how to change that....

I decided that I had best get the photos I promised up before I leave on Sunday for a week...so here I am doing just that.
