I am frustrated.
With work.
Why, you may ask?
Because we are OUT of almost EVERYTHING!
It's awwwwwful!!!!
We are out of our vanilla syrup...in a coffee shop-that is important to have. People like their vanilla lattes, and their caramel macchiato's that come with vanilla and all that other jazz. But we're out.
We are out of our flat bread, which most of our panini sandwiches are made on.
Our yuuummmy buttery croissants.
Our roasted red peppers.
Whipped cream.
Chicken salad.
Large hot cups.
We are getting DANGEROUSLY low on our espresso beans.

And...that is just a sample as to what we are out of.
We have a fairly new manager....and he is a great guy, 23, so very nice and all, but he DEFINITELY needs to get his game on.
AND ORDER!!!!
aggggh. It's to the point right now where I don't want to go into work, because we are losing customers, and it's sooo tiring having to say "oh, I am sorry, we are out of our vanilla" "oh, our roasted red peppers that go on that we are out of...can I get you a different kind of sandwich?"...and the list goes on. And then to see their faces as they ask for different things...and I have to decline them each time, because they happen to ask for something that we are OUT OF, is just not cool. Seriously not cool.

It's not good for business, it's not good for Erik, our manager, and it's not good for anything!

Right now he is out of state visiting his fiance...and won't be back till Tuesday. So, no order being put in until then...which means no order being SHIPPED until who knows when...siiigh. It's seriously awful.

I don't know what we are going to do...and I don't know how it's gotten to this point.

It's not good though. :/

Anyway...I just felt a need to vent :P
(also, forgive my spelling errors... :P )

Tomorrow I am going to visit my cousin and take maternity pictures of her (so be checking my photography blog...) and help her pack a bag for when she has the baby :) Should be fun!

Have a WONDERFUL weekend!

Oct. 19th, 2010 @ 11:59 am 2010 Pro-Life Day of Silent Solidarity
Pro-Life Day of Silent Solidarity 2010.

The past couple of years, I have wanted to participate in this, but I always found out too late. So, I found out last night, and wanted to make a shirt. So around 12 am I got some sharpies, and made a shirt. It is DEFINITELY nothing spectacular, but it got the job done.
The theme shirts for this year said "Abortion Stops a Beating Heart"....so I used that for the front of my shirt, and on the back, I put --
"Take my hand...not my LIFE"

I can't take part in the silence...but during my silence, I can pray, and I can pray for everyone involved and the persecution that is sure to come on them. (I know several friends who have gone thru so much on this day...its amazing to see their perseverance.)

This is something I am passionate about...and I know some don't see how being silent for a day can do any good...but I believe it can. And so I am taking part today in supporting this event....by wearing a shirt. :)

go to: http://silentday.org/
That is the official website...

(johnnie helped me until he started to spell "stop" wrong...I took over then...:))

This is for you Maddie, and also because I am soooooo bad in updating my LJ.

It's been a long while, hasn't it?

Just a random update on life--I come out and read ya'lls updates, every day. when there is something new :)

I am going to be an Aunt again. :) Yay! Stephanie is due in February.

I got 5th chair in orchestra.

My family got lice.

(ewwww)

I got my first ticket-but only for expired registrations and tags.

I got a job-at a coffee shop called The Daily Grind.
(I LOOOVE it)

My favorite drink to make is a latte. Especially a Snickers latte. Y.u.m.

I teach violin to a few students. And they are doing SO well.

We went to the beach for a WHOLE ENTIRE WEEK. And we had perfect weather the entire week. Wooohooo!

I passed out at work on my second day working.

My brother got one of the SIX, highly applied for, firefighter positions. He is in firefighter training school right now for 16 weeks. I am SO proud of him. :)

Apr. 28th, 2010 @ 02:59 pm A new addition.... :)
We got TWO puppies on Monday night.
They are simply adorable, and all the kids are in love with them!
The reason for them is mainly for a healing balm for the kids. Our dog, Mr. Knightly, got hit by a car last Wednesday. It was a very sad day for everyone. But having these puppies now is the perfect thing!

This past Friday we went to go see Pride and Prejudice: The Musical directed by my fantastic brother in law. It was SOOO well done and about three hours long! :-D Amazing!!!

Apr. 22nd, 2010 @ 10:31 am I've neglected my LJ....
And for that I am soooo sorry!!! I had almost completely forgot about it. But now that I have remembered, I have decided to post. I am just going to do the same post I did on my xanga....since I don't have much time.
I've really loved catching up on all of your lj entries though. :) I promise to get back into the swing of things of blogging over here, because I like this blog more. it is just more private. :)

This is my friend. His name is Brandon. And I like him. Alot.

He has become a pretty big part of my life as of late, and to be honest, I love it that way.

He makes me grin. And laugh. More than you know…but the thing that is most important to me is his Love for the Lord. It’s something that is pretty amazing, everyone. I am not going to say that it was the first thing that “caught my eye” so to say, (but it was one of the things) because that’s not exactly true. It was that he liked photography and music…but as I have watched him and gotten to know him, his spiritual knowledge, and wisdom has struck me unlike anything else. It’s encouraging, and he is encouraging to me thru his walk with the Lord. His walk and his way of life challenge me to want to be more like that. I love the fact that he can’t wait to tell me something he’s learned, or talk about a sermon he’s heard. I seriously haven’t known very many guys who are like this.

He plays the guitar.
…and he plays amazingly. I think I would listen to him play all day if I could.

He loves photography and has a pretty awesome camera. It’s a Canon….but I still like it. He has mad skills in picture taking AND picture editing.

One thing that I think I might like the most? I like the fact that he is talkative and outgoing and that he almost always has something to say, yet he can listen. He is a very good listener, and he encourages me to talk. He always seems to know the exact words to say and use to be an encouragement, and just in general. It’s great. He also always seems to grasp exactly what I try to say, even when I my self can't really understand what I am trying to say.

Just to get you all caught up since I haven’t mentioned any of this yet on here. We started courting/pursuing a relationship/whatever you want to call it, last month. But we have been talking daily since the end of December. He has been what has been making some of my days so amazingly wonderful-like my birthday and other weekends.

For now that is all. He is amazing, and I am so thankful for our relationship.

Dec. 11th, 2009 @ 09:54 pm yea...
I honestly haven't been bored in like forever.
And right now, I am bored.
Shocking I know.
I've been at my nanny job for 14 hours so far today...
The kids are in bed now, and I just want to go do something.
But that will come soon enough, for once I'm off work, it's offf to D.C!!!
But it seems like the minutes are ticking by.....
I could probably just do something useful or something I NEED to do...but I don't feel like it??
Anyone ever felt like that?!?! It's weird. You're bored, yet you don't wanna DO anything.
Ah, I'm strange.
Goodnight all.
